Welcome to Tailored Events! Owned and operated by high-end bridal seamstress Deborah Birch, with over 25 years of experience in the bridal industry, she does more than just alterations. Deborah strives to help make every bride feel and look her very best through excellent fitting, expert tailoring, and exquisite custom design for any bridal gown! 

Tailoring/alterations are an important part of the bridal experience. And Tailored Events is here to make sure your wedding gown fits  you exactly as you have envisioned it in your dreams! We focus on wedding gowns only, giving your gown 100% of our attention!  Alterations are explained step by step to keep you informed on the transformation of a wedding gown to the most amazing garment you will ever wear!


Chosen to be the face of alterations for Blush Bridal Lounge & Second Summer Bride, we are located inside Second Summer Bride at 1308 W. Anderson Lane, Austin TX, 78757. 


 The Alterations Process:

We walk you through this process from your first fitting until your final one!  

Q: What to bring?  
A: You must have your bridal shoes for every fitting!

Q: How long does it take?
A: You will be scheduled for 3-4 fittings, each lasting no more than 1 hour (we know you have a lot to do!)

Q: How much does it cost?
A: You will be quoted in the first fitting with a written, line-item format showing alterations needed to get you down the aisle. Alterations are different for every bride, depending on your wants and needs. A safe budget for alterations is between $400 - $600.
